Ruckersville Animal Hospital wants you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and task oriented veterinary tech to join our nation-wide Pet Vet Care Centers family. From the first pediatric visit to end of life care, Ruckersville Animal Hospital is here every step of the way for our clientele and their beloved pets. While we may be a "small town" veterinary hospital, we are fast-paced with start of the art technology. We offer surgical services, including orthopedic, external and IV laser therapy, digital radiology as well as ultrasound/echocardiograms, top shelf dental services including digital dental radiology and more.

Full-time position (10hr shifts Monday - Friday & 1 - 2 Saturdays per month).

Benefits include 401K, Health/Dental/Vision options with beneficiary package, pet care discounts, scrub allowance all available after 90 day review.

Below are some qualifications

must be a licensed vet tech
assist with dentals
administer medications and anesthesia.
monitor anesthesia, blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels during surgery.
perform radiology and ultrasounds procedures.
perform laboratory tests on blood, urine and feces.
nursing care and treatment of hospitalized animals.
provide client education and instructions to owners for home care of animals.
promote the human-animal bond.
are advocates for all animals in your care.
assist doctor with appointments
fill prescriptions
