**Change in RAH COVID Policy starting June 21, 2021**
Beginning Monday, June 21, 2021, RAH will now be allowing one owner to come into the hospital with their pet. Masks are optional. You will have the option of continuing to use our curbside service or you may now be with your pet during their visit. Unfortunately, we will not be able to open our restroom to the public at this time. All other services including medicine pick-up will remain curbside. Inside the hospital will remain off limits except for appointments with your pet.
Here is how it will work if you choose to come in with your pet. Please remain in your vehicle and call the front desk on our main line 434-985-7924. A nurse will then either call you back or come out and escort you and your pet back into the building. Once the visit is completed, we will give you the total of your invoice and ask for a method of payment. We will then escort you and your pet back out to your vehicle. Once your medicines have been made up and the invoice has been processed, we will bring the medicines, your credit card, and receipt to you in your in your vehicle.
We are looking forward to the time in the near future when we can completely open up again. We will continue to be concerned about the safety of our clients and employees until this pandemic is declared over and can’t wait to rejoice with you at that time!
