Kindness and compassion extend much further than ugliness and anger. Be kind to all around you and remember: on the inside we are all people.
We know waiting isn't easy and while our priority is to assist every one of our wonderful clients and their pets in a timely manner, sometimes it just isn't possible. So, we would like to remind our amazing clientele that patience is a virtue and while we understand your frustrations, we would appreciate it very much if you try to use compassion and treat our hard-working doctors and staff with respect and care.
At this time, we are routinely seeing a 4-5 but sometimes 7-day wait time for routine week day appointments and a 2-3 week wait time for Saturdays. We always have and always will continue to do our very best to get any sick/injured patients in as soon as possible, but sometimes we will be forced to refer your pet to one our neighboring veterinary or emergency facilities to ensure they are cared for in an appropriate time frame. If your appointment is running behind, please note that we are aware and are doing our best to stay on time for appointments but sometimes pets are more critical than anticipated and will require additional and more timely treatments. We apologize if we are running late for your schedule appointment, but know that this may be because a patient is in need of some extra TLC.
We also continue to ask for at least a 48-hr time period for all prescription requests to be approved and filled or phoned into an alternative pharmacy. We will always do our best to get medication and food requests fulfilled prior to the 48-hrs, but we continue to ask for your understanding and patience if your pet’s prescription request is unable to be completed on the same day the request is made.
This is not an easy time for anyone, especially when it comes to having to watch your beloved pets enter Ruckersville Animal Hospital without you, but please rest assured that the level of love we have for every patient that walks through the door will never falter, nor will the standards of care that we provide them.
Thank you ❤️
